Dear class of 2012,
If you are still keeping up with your blogs I just wanted to tell you my feelings about break so far. So far I've realized how much I love my bed and how peaceful my sleep can be in my own room. Also that I really miss being able to run to the second or third floor in the dorm to be by myself. Being home for so long makes me remember the reason I wanted to go away for High School in the first place. Well today is Christmas eve, and every ones in chipper spirits preparing for the soon arrival of St. Nick. Hope you enjoy the holidays

home leave

all home leave i just hung out with my brother. he drove me all around and took me to the movies with some friends from home. I had fun but i didn't get to see my niece and nephew. i found out my little sister is really clingy and got way stronger. i also went to my brothers soccer tourney in NJ, they got second=(. any ways i had a pretty good home leave

I am most thankful for...

My immediate family because last night my dad and brother came up to check on me. Jacob and Messenger for making work fun and giving me someone to talk to when I'm having trouble. God for giving me opportunities to explore his love. Durby for letting me wet my feet a little in the wonderful world of basketball. The prayers of my grandparents and church family that are helping me to keep on keeping on. I'm thankful for Dean DeVore for helping me get acquainted with dorm life and having a roommate. For drama which is actually a blessing in disguise helping me resolve issues that occur throughout the week.

I feell speacial!=)

I feel really happy! this past Tuesday i was in my first every basket ball game/ scrimmage with another team. it was harder than what i expected but i still had fun. in the third quarter i think it was i scored two points. Can you believe it i made a jump shot. well that was the highlight of my week I'll be sure to add another post next time something exciting in my life happens(I'll see you next year lol).

woo whoo renweb

Renweb is a very effective tool for me as a student at hva. I will now use it more efficiently rather than the way I used to. After class today I will probably check it once or twice a week now so I can stay updated on whats for homework and what will be going on in class.

School :(

This past few weeks I have been working hard to keep my grades up. My Dad told me I can to better so I am trying really hard to get all A's or at least the majority of my grades up to an a from a B because I have all B's right now and I'm doing barely enough to get by. I am training myself to be more self disciplined and motivated especially with health. I need to work on my time management skills to make time for homework and to not be distracted all the time.

Yesterday everyone was freaking out about the geometry test. Since I got off of work early I went to the help class. Affterward I could help people in the dorm with understanding geometry. Going over it with them also gave me more practice with geomety. Creating the Win Win situation of my week.

What I Love To Do

One of my favorite activities is dancing. If I had nothing to do on a Sunday I would blast B-more club mix and have a lot of fun. I've loved dancing since my brother went to his first middle school dance and taught me how to. . .well dance. It is something that my entire family loves to do. It doesn't always look pretty but for the most part it does. So if you're ever bored on a Sunday blast some music through a party and don't forget to invite me=)!

Basketball

this week is basket ball try-outs and im really nervous. Im really not much of a basketball player, but I thought I'd try it out. I also didn't want to be bored in the dorm when all the other guys were at an away game or something. I hope I hustle and play hard. Please pray for me so I don't make a total fool out of myself=). Anyways if I make the team this will be helping my mission statement in that I'll be spreading my horizons at HVA (WHOOPY!!).

GEOMETRY!!!

Geometry is so much fun for me. It used to be a stumbling block, but now I'm starting to like it=). Besides being called a nerd and stuff I guess it's okay. In the end I know a lot of people who would not be doing so great with out of help from yours truly. With a lot of help from god of course. I think God is telling me that he wants me to help others; right now I don't know how. I came to HVA to find out what God wants to do with my life and I think this is the proper environment to get closer to him.

Blessings in Disguise

This week I have been dealing with a few problems. Surprisingly I am happy for them, because I know God is testing me. I have been working on my self control lately and I think I'm stronger for it now. I plan to keep working toward my goals and hopefully I will be successful.

My finger =(

I have recently broken my finger last monday. It has put a limmit on my exersising so now I do alot more core and lower body workouts. I hope my finger heals soon. So I can start using weights again because im loosing size and deffinition in my arms. So please pray for my finger it would be a big help in fulfilling my mission.

Life Helps

Belive it or not coming to HVA was a learning expirence by its self not so much the school but in liveing with people my own age(YUCH). If I remember corectly the second or third week of school I started to hear rumors about me. unbenonced to me later on i was comfronted about it and it changed my look tward everything and most other people. other people mainly because they were telling me things I did not want to hear. the mean, horrible, life crushing words were; I talk to much and I'm (very) cockey. this heart so much because I was jus trying to fit in. when I found out everyone jus wanted me to hush up Ihave gotten quieter and try not to talk in fear of what i say will be used against me. so there you have it america the reason I dispise communication with others espeacialy face to face.

Interactions(OOoooooooO)

Hello my fello peoples to day I went to dramma. I use it as tool since this school doesn't have public speeking and it helps me think out side the buns. Joining dramma (I think) will help me to interact more efficionatly with others so making friends will soon come easy. This week I have also been hangging out with a "different crowd" and observing how different groups of people interact. So . . . that's basically my learning expirence 4 the week check in next week and i'll keep you posted.

class party

Class party started off sort of weird, but I started to mingle kind of but what ever. I noticed that when you get some people of the "adventist class room setting" they go crazy. I talked to a few people that I wouldn't consider my best of friends; that I wouldn't mind getting to know more.
before the party i got go chill with Erik, Jin, and Tom. Tom's pretty quite in class but he is hilarious. I can't understand a word he says (in korean) but it makes me laugh.

My Legacy

Is to be remembered as a great mind. Someone who made wise disigions and thought-out every possible out come for any situation. A kind perosn who is a fenomenal listener. The go-to guy if you're having trouble or just want to talk. I want people to say i'm a gentleman who treated all with upmost respect. A man who always liked to look good but didn't mine rollling up his sleaves and getting dirty. A child of God willing to do his work.
